Salmonella control program

A combination of all measures taken to reduce the risk of introduction and spread of Salmonella, are explained by Lieven Dambre, Product Manager of CID LINES. During the last decade there was a dramatic increase of human cases of salmonellosis and campylobacteriosis in most Western countries. Epidemiological research figures indicate that about 10 percent of human salmonellosis and nearly all cases of campylobacteriosis are caused by eating contaminated chicken meat.
